CAR ACCIDENTS

1. What is the Florida “No Fault” law?

A Florida “No Fault” law is a law that requires vehicle owners in Florida to carry “personal injury protection” insurance coverage. If you are injured in an automobile accident, your personal injury protection “PIP” insurance company will pay a percentage of your medical bills and a percentage of your lost wages. These benefits will be reduced by any deductible you have on your policy. You are not required to prove that the other driver was at fault to receive these benefits.
