Frequently Asked Questions

WORKERS COMPENSATION

2. What should I do if I am injured on the job?

You should report your injury to your employer immediately. Your employer should then prepare an accident report called a Notice of Injury and forward it to the employer’s workers’ compensation insurance company. Also, immediately request that your employer provide you with medical treatment, either at the emergency room or with a treating physician. Sometimes, employers or their workers’ compensation insurance companies do not promptly provide the employee with medical treatment. If this happens, the assistance of an attorney may be required. At Farrell & Gasparo, P.A., we have extensive experience in dealing with insurance companies in order to assist you in promptly receiving your medical care.
